Bio

Coach Roessner started playing lacrosse in the 4th grade at Lower Bucks Lacrosse up in Bucks County Pennsylvania. He started playing long pole defense, but developed into an offensive focused player by the time he reached Neshaminy High School’s varsity program where he played attack. He was chosen as a captain and as an all conference team player his senior year. Jim’s career took him to Arlington, VA to play DIII lacrosse at Marymount University for Coach Reynolds. During his time playing at college he would also volunteer to coach local kids, as well as providing 1 on 1 sessions for private lessons. Jim joined the St. James Lacrosse program for the Fall season of 2022. Throughout his coaching tenure at the St. James he has coached teams that won the McLean fall box league; Division Champions for HOCO, and more. He looks forward to many more years ahead with the St. James lacrosse program.
