Joshua Square

Coach Square is an offensive coordinator for the St. James Lacrosse program. He was a three year varsity athlete and two-year captain as a midfielder at Unity Reed High School in Manassas. There he was a two time all district player and became a top ranked midfielder in the state of Virginia. He went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at Hampton University where he studied Criminal Justice and joined the Army ROTC program. He served as a dynamic offensive midfielder for the Pirates and remained an ambassador of the game throughout his playing career. Joshua has always sought opportunities to develop the youth, play the medicine game and grow the sport. Since he was a senior in highschool he has coached for numerous travel teams. Following Joshua’s return to the DC metropolitan he has assisted and volunteered at Freedom Highschool, GoBig Lacrosse, FXBG Lacrosse, True Lacrosse and eventually St.James Lacrosse. Joshua is a passionate leader and eager to spread his knowledge to the St. James program. Joshua believes that in life there are never losses, only lessons.
